Trix Worrell's Writer's Room.

 

For C4’s 40th Anniversary, we were commissioned to run Trix Worrell’s Writing Room. Working on a concept we pitched to the Comedy Department, we invited 5 young and diverse writers to join a writers room with Trix Worrell as the lead writer.

 

Over a week we created a script that culminated in a read through with actors. Off the back of this, C4 commissioned stage-two development to run another writers room with the same group of young and diverse writers. Our final draft is now in with C4 for notes.
 
We have several comedies and dramas in development including an option on a best-selling book for a returnable drama. ITV commissioned a draft script for a comedy series by Trix Worrell and although they did not commission a full series, it is now being re-written for BBC.

We are working with an exciting list of new writers that fits our brief for bringing new voices to the fore and enabling them to do their best work.
